Governance Work

GOVERNANCE work

Within the Data Governance framework that has been adopted, the Data Trustees and Data Stewards committees are responsible for making strategic, tactical, and operational decisions about institutional data. The Data Trustees provide strategic oversight of Data Governance initiatives and guide the Data Governance program to ensure that decisions align with the Strategic Plan, developing policies, standards, and processes as necessary. The Data Stewards are responsible for developing definitions, business rules, and quality rules, and for approving reference data changes such as adding or decommissioning codes.
