This module provides a foundational understanding for what Data Governance is, why we do it, and how we do it here at UNCG. This module is required for members of the Data Trustees and Data Stewards committees. It is recommended for anyone with a data-related role at UNCG.
This module takes a more detailed look at the ways that Data Governance is related to Information Governance and IT Governance. It also looks at how the two main committee bodies, the Data Trustees and the Data Stewards work together to provide accountability and responsibility for our institutional data. This module is required for members of the Data Trustees and Data Stewards committees. Others with a data-related role at UNCG may benefit from viewing this module. *Pre-requisite: Module 1
